This is a unique opportunity to provide a creative approach bringing international artists to the Chinese market in a rapidly changing multi-dimensional media environment.

As the Digital Media Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning the long-term digital strategy for international artists as well as overseeing the day-to-day management of artists’ social accounts.

You will develop your interpersonal skills to communicate internally and externally to build strong relationships with world-class labels and major digital partners.

What will you do:
– Working with international territories to help foreign artists build their social profiles on major Chinese digital platforms includes Weibo. Douyin, bilibili, QQ Music, NetEase Music, etc.
– Communicate with labels and digital partners to analyze artist identity and promotional demand to provide exclusive and creative long-term digital marketing strategy to improve followers and artists reputation.
– Daily management of artists’ social media accounts on different platforms with engaging content.
– Develop the social calendar, writing and editing.
– Work with digital partners to monitor analytics/trends and optimize operational approach.
– Regularly communicate with the regional office to invite artists creating localized and exclusive content that meets Chinese social trends.
– Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns to increase artist popularity, including but not limited to online events (launch campaign, KOL campaigns, live reviews) and offline events ( fan gathering, album audition).
– Work closely with the international marketing team to promote the artist’s priority musical project.
– Liaise with digital partners to leverage maximized promotional resources.
– Support any social and video content with basic photo and video editing skills. Create China-specific content for local platforms, including graphics, viral videos, music videos.
– Organize and manage the online community for artists, provide incentives and build community hierarchy to maintain a sustainable and engaging community to enhance artist interactions.
– Collect and work with data on each platform to provide monthly data report for artist operation. Proactively optimize the operation plan based on the data result.
– Be responsible for follower growth and exposure result. Identify and analyze new and innovative exposure and revenue generation opportunities for international artists.

Who are you:
– Good sense of creative, social/digital content. Results oriented and knows how to get campaign results, strong understanding of major digital platforms (Weibo, Wechat Video, Douyin, bilibili, QQ Music, NetEase Music, RED, etc.)
– Mastery of Powerpoint, Photoshop, Excel and video editing software (RP, Final Cut, etc.)
– Fluency in spoken and written English.
