As part of the Nintendo Minute series on Nintendo’s official Youtube channel, the audio director of the beloved action roguelike Underworld, Darren Korb, appeared to give viewers a tour of his music studio. Throughout this video, it’s clear that Korb enjoys what he does, and his detailed explanations and trivia about his songwriting history with the SuperGiant titles make him a watch that is both informative and enjoyable.
Underworld is loved for virtually every facet of it, but its soundtrack is arguably near the peak of what fans value most. It’s atmospheric, addicting and never tiresome to hear after tens of hours of diving in hell.

Underworld is a sensational roguelike that was originally released on PC via Steam to incredibly favorable impressions. Since then, it has been ported to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and Nintendo Switch, so players across all platforms can enjoy this genre-defining experience.
Developer Supergiant Games has worked on other stellar titles such as Bastion and Transistor. The first one was actually the first game I played on Steam, so I always had a soft spot for Supergiant and the consistently good work they did.
