The day will take place on Saturday April 2, 2022 the lucky winners will have access to …

– Live drum recording with a professional drummer
– Sampling and resampling
– Use of the battery via EQ and effects

The course will be taught by one of CM’s professional tutors.
Each of you will have your own workstation to apply the principles and experiment … And take the material to rework it in your own HQ

Changing Lives Through Music

For over 35 years, Community Music, the UK’s oldest community-based music organization, has been at the forefront of music education, helping young producers and musicians acquire and improve the skills needed for a career. in the music and creative industries where they would otherwise not have the skills, resources and guidance to do so.

Supported by the Arts Council, Community Music helps aspiring young musicians work across all genres of music, through presentation, networking, mentoring and training opportunities. The organization offers free rehearsal space, studio access, events and drawings from key industry figures to advise young people.

The Creative Music Production and Business Foundation Diploma is a two-year full-time course that first explores the different areas of music production and the music industry and then focuses on business development, personal development and career planning.

Fees are around £ 3,000 cheaper than at other universities offering the same course, and over 80% of students pursue a career in the music industry or continue their education. Community Music aims to keep fees low to encourage people from all walks of life to apply. Previous qualifications are not essential and Community Music is looking for motivation, attitude and people with ambition for the future. Community Music has a fantastic array of graduates in a highly competitive industry.

Tom Barnes, a community music graduate, represents a third of TMS.
TMS are a Grammy-nominated English record writing and production team. They wrote 1 US number 1 single and 6 UK number 1 singles including Lewis Capaldi “Someone You Loved”
